Most memoirs are written from hindsight. This entire series was written from within the fog itself. 

Much of this book was written from within the trauma, long before I could make sense of what was happening to me.

Introduction to Echoes from the Dark Clouds Series

I write books and articles for my blog, and I am currently introducing my latest book, A Walk in the Fog, part of the Echoes from the Dark Clouds series.

I am only now placing these books in reading order because memories do not come in one neat moment of understanding. Memories come in spurts. They appear as flashes of light, here one moment and gone the next. They do not always make sense at first, and sometimes something happens that pulls you back into the trauma before you are ready.

Some things showed themselves long before others did. It depended on how severe the trauma was and how many memories of each episode came. The last thing that happened, I still don't have all the memories, and the ones I have, I can't make sense of all of them.

This series is not arranged by perfection. It is arranged by the path of discovery.
