Something Beyond The Ordinary
A Walk in the Fog is the beginning of a journey through confusion, love, warning signs, and the slow awakening of a woman trying to understand what is happening to her.
This is not a story told from the safety of the ending. It begins where she was then — inside the feeling, inside the hope, inside the fog — before she had any words for the trap that was closing around her. When she left, there was an invisible pull that kept drawing her back each time she tried to leave.
For readers who have ever ignored a warning, questioned their own heart, or wondered why leaving was not as simple as it looked from the outside, this book opens the door.
Sometimes the fog does not lift all at once. Sometimes you have to walk through it first.

Audiobook
This section is for my audiobooks, as I finish each one. This is the only one available at this time.
These audiobooks are not professionally produced. I want to read my own books in my own voice. There may be a few mistakes I did not catch while recording, and some background noise from time to time. What you will hear is not a polished studio performance. What you will hear is me, the author, reading my story myself.
And for this series, that matters a great deal.
Echoes from the Dark Clouds was written from inside the fog, before I fully understood what was happening to me. Much of it came from confusion, emotional turmoil, memory, diary entries, and discovery. Sometimes the feelings are raw. Sometimes you may hear that rawness in my voice. I do not apologize for that. This story was not born in a quiet, untouched place. It came through pain, confusion, survival, and the slow return of truth.
Memories hardly ever return in one great moment of clarity. They often come in small flashes — a thought, a feeling, a sentence, a piece of something that may not make sense until days, weeks, or even months later. That is one reason this first book in the series was not published first. I did not yet understand where it belonged. I was still learning the shape of my own story.
Within the pages of A Walk in the Fog, I invite you to walk through that confusion with me. I want readers and listeners to experience the fog as I did, not from the safe distance of hindsight, but from inside the place where nothing yet made sense.
There are not always explanations as you move through the story. There is the experience itself — the emotions, the confusion, the pull, the questions, and the slow beginning of recognition.
My hope is that someone who is now inside something similar may recognize themselves in these pages and begin to see what they could not see before. And for those who love someone trapped in that kind of fog, I hope this story offers understanding. Thank you for listening and for walking with me through the series. Echoes from the Dark Clouds. Below, I read Chapter 1, part of the final chapter, and a message to those of you who wonder if this is real. If you prefer to see it in print, it is available at this link.
