Memoirs aren't made in a single moment. Memories are not always available.

And trauma can leave behind a flash of memory too painful to keep on hand.

Memories do not come in one neat moment of understanding. Memories come in spurts. They appear as flashes of light, here one moment and gone the next. They do not always make sense at first, and sometimes something happens that pulls you back into the trauma before you are ready.

Some things showed themselves long before others did. It depended on how severe the trauma was and how many memories of each episode came. For the last thing that happened, coercion, I still don't have all the memories, and of the ones I do, I can't make sense of them all.

Echoes from the Dark Clouds is no longer a series. Three of the six books are no longer available. I misremembered and placed it in the wrong place in the manuscript. That is why I temporarily discontinued the series.

Recently, I began reassembling the Echoes from the Dark Clouds series.

So, take my hand. Walk in the fog with me. Here is the reading of the first chapter, part of the last chapter, and a message from me to those loved ones who don't understand why they can't just leave or see what he's doing to them.
