Anuraga Thakura is a true account of long-term romance fraud and an eight-year personal investigation into the psychological manipulation, coercive control, and troubling patterns operating behind a seemingly loving relationship.

For six years, the author experienced a long-distance romance that gradually became a cycle of affection, deception, emotional dependence, punishment, and control. Even after recognizing the fraud, she discovered that understanding the deception and escaping its psychological influence were two very different things.

Determined to understand what had happened, she began examining years of conversations, repeated behaviors, demands, threats, and inconsistencies. Her investigation continued for two years after the final separation, with discoveries as recent as 2026 raising new questions about the methods and possible coordination behind the fraud.

The name Anuraga Thakura represents what the author came to call the machine: a system of manipulation in which affection, carefully timed responses, psychological pressure, and coercion could be used to establish and maintain control.

Through firsthand experiences and investigative observations, the author explores how emotional attachment can be deliberately cultivated, how resistance can be punished, and why recognizing manipulation does not necessarily mean its influence immediately disappears.

Rather than claiming to have identified every person or organization involved, she presents the patterns she observed and the conclusions she reached, inviting readers to examine the psychological mechanisms behind prolonged romance fraud.
